Booster Reheat Coil
 
Similar to a hot water coil but without a header. Booster Coils are designed for heating applications with a variety of casing configurations available, including fully flanged, slip and drive or end plates only.
 
Booster Coils are compact duct-mounted coils designed for air heating applications. They are capable of heating forced air at a high rate. Outside air is filtered into the system where it flows over coils, depending on the temperature of the water flowing through the coils and how well the metals retain heat, the air will become much warmer.
 
HVAC booster coils are excellent for heating because they are designed with multiple bends and folds, increasing the surface area of the coil. A larger surface means more areas for the air to come into contact, expanding the capacity for heat transfer.
